Meet the team! With lived experience at the center of our practice and a passion for change, our trio team are committed towards making positive impact through collaborative partnerships.
Within our team we have our founder Jacob Sakil who has extensive expertise within youth voice and community collaboration. Ricardo brings a brilliant sense of clarity when connecting ideas within any surrounding whilst being solution focused. And finally Nailah who has a natural spark when it comes to creativity and building effective teams.

Who Are We
Connecting Conversations is a start-up social enterprise based in south east london. Founded by Youth Worker and former Young Mayor of Lewisham Jacob Sakil to increase long term innovative social impact through collaborative approaches with over 10 years experience in youth and community engagement.
What we want
We are passionate to help build a world where all sectors work as a collective to address social issues we face within our communities and wider society meaningful stakeholder engagement and youth leadership.
What we do
We offer four key services and also bespoke programmes with an aim to help design and implement solutions to challenge the norm on how outcomes are delivered.
Whether that means working with schools to foster civic participation leading to students achieving a sense of agency or collaborating with the third and private sectors to create solutions whilst highlighting the importance of diversity and youth inclusion throughout every process.

In a world where information is available at the push of a button yet solutions to how we engage young people and marginalized communities aren’t at the forefront of public discourse.
We at Connecting Conversations believe in the power of connections and finding innovative ways of bringing people together to break down social barriers and create more agency forming collaborative long term solutions.
